The Cricket Boutique - About JEDi Sports

Here is a little piece about James and JEDi Sports.

Having served a four year apprenticeship under the watchful guidance of 'Master Bat Maker' Alfred Charles Evans at ACE Cricket Bats of Elland, James Dollive honed his skills and knowledge in the art of bat making. During his nine years working at ACE James made bats for numerous county and international class cricketers, including Ian Austin (Lancs & England) & Ijaz Ahmed (Pakistan) to name a few.

Once ACE closed it doors for business in 2005 James was forced to find work away from bat making, still wanting to work with wood, he joined a local bespoke joinery company where he worked in the office as a estimator, his heart however has always been cricket and in 2011 he decided to take the bold move of setting up to business on his own. This saw the formation of JEDi Sports, his ambitions were simple; to provide high quality cricket bats and equipment with a personal, friendly and reliable customer service (and at a GREAT price). This mantra has seen JEDi grow from strength to strength, moving at first supplying a few new bats and repairing his teammates bats, to now selling hundreds of new bats and repairing and re-handling over 600 bats a year.

The Full range of JEDi cricket bats and softs are available via The Cricket Boutique website.
